I bought one that would lift the front or back wheels at the same time. Jack stand are a must if you are going to be under the vehicle at all, but make sure to buy some that will support your vehicle weight. I have seen the smaller one buckle under the weight of an 80's Box Chevy. Left it up on stands overnight, came out in the morning to find the drivers side on the ground.

Well i plan on being under the car so i need a jack that will KEEP it up. Know of any reliable but cheap ones?
