You'll also have a tough time finding a 97-98 6spd for under 30K. These cars are those pushing the market in price for a clean one, especially those without repaint (something I would not worry about personally). I'd put the word out to the big sellers out there (WOTM,Speed4Sale, etc) and be willing to bump your budget if need be, as well as travel and or ship the car if need be. It's not very hard to fly to check out a car and then have it driven home or loaded on a transporter, in the end it can save you from buying a bad car out of state, and open yourself up to many cars that would not be available in state.
