for the most part, yes only if you're using TWO amps, read the man's answer to your q.
If the single amp is going to be powering both the subs in the two boxes then you only need one kit.
The kits are for amps only, as far as subs all you need is thick (16ga) speaker wire to hook them up to the amps.
