please help
hey guys, i bought 2 rampage ba-100 subs about 2 weeks ago, but just now opened them for christmas. just my luck, one of them is completly broken, the box is broke and the sub is just moving around freely in the box so that one is going to be sent back
so i have the one still and im trying to learn how to install it myself, i have a few ideas on how to do it, i just dont wanna screw up. here is what the instructions say...
well first, the box says its easy to hook up since the amp is built in the box already... but anywho, heres what it says....
im so confused.... please help, someone tell me exactly what i have to do, but a much easier way.

WIRING
There are 4 connections necessary for proper operation of the BA-100.
1. 12 volt (12v): Connect this wire to a source of +12 volts which does not turn off with the ignition key. It may also be connected directly to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.
2. Ground (GND): secure this wire using a screw or bolt on a grounded metal surface of the vehicle. Clean away any rust, dirt, or paint from the surface to make sure a good connection is made.
3. Speaker input positive (SPK +): splice this wire to the wire going to the positive (+) terminal of the speaker that you have chosen (sometimes indicated by a red dot).
4. Speaker input negative (SPK -): splice this wire to the wire going to the negative (-) terminal of the speaker that you have chosen.

lol for real, just a 6 pack and it will get done?
but yah on another forum they said i need a amp wiring kit.
but since ill have 2 boxes, with 2 seperate amps built in each, ill need 2 kits?

A 6 pack will get you help from us. I demand at least lunch for me to install it myself. I prefer chineese food.
Wiring kits are usually required for amps. if you dont have one you will prolly have to roll to walmart and get a cheap 8ga kit.

and since i have 2 boxes... will i need 2 wiring kits? since each box has its own built in lil amp for the sub?

If the single amp is going to be powering both the subs in the two boxes then you only need one kit.
The kits are for amps only, as far as subs all you need is thick (16ga) speaker wire to hook them up to the amps.
