if your planning on upgrading to a turbo requiring a FMIC (using the idea i posted earlier), then go ahead and get a FMIC. I did it on the stock turbo for awhile and had no real problems with it. Never raced it though, so I cant tell you if it hurt or enhanced the performance, but the lag after the shift was the same as with any turbo. Its definitely not worth it in its own respect, but if you plan on upgrading in the near future, it wont hurt to do it first.
if you dont plan on upgrading the turbo, then stick with a top mount.
