I agree and disagree with that. I agree that to an extent it is true, but I disagree because it is there doesn't necesarily mean it cannot be taken higher safely on factory components. Sometimes there are reasons aside from engineering purposes that things are done one way.
I would just make sure that you know what the engine package is capable off. Usually there is someone out there who has already tried a mod and can share the results, be it good or bad.
