i didnt realize the new ones had such a low limiter. i would expect from the v6 but damn. i know toyota lowered the new gt-s celica's revlimiters from 8k to like 6700rpm in 2002 because people were blowing them up and were downshifting into 2nd from 5th and shit. i dunno.

only way you'll get around it is if you get an ecu reprogram or maybe some of those msd or hks ignition units will let u change it but i dont know about those that much i never had one. pretty much out of luck with that. unless you're really smart you can probably get around it using some diodes and shit from radio shack. try google i think i seen ecu hacks before somewhere.
