the header for a B-series ( i know its at least B18C and B18B, might be the B16A as well) is not only about two inches too short, but also the flange is off by 90 degrees. i just had this problem.

some aftermarket exhausts, like the tanabe SRM is a little long, and has a non-welded flange, so you can line it up if need be... but anything with a welded flange for the EK hatch will NOT work.

oh, but you are def right about the 8-15 hp, its not gonna happen.
even if you were to use a test pipe and aftermarket header?
