correct. you should do the belt every 60k and the pump every two belts, i.e. 120k, just to be safe.

parts for a belt change are $60 belt and $40-50 water pump, depending on model. labor, if you dont do it yourself, usually runs $300ish...

as for that new, perfectly funcitoning thermostat, is it a Honda piece? i bought a bumper-to-bumper brand cheapo a coupla years ago and had probs with it, replaced it with a OEM Honda one like 3 weeks later and never had another issue. you really cant argue with superior quality...
