oh dear god.

KAs....91-early 93 were the most powerful because they came with the more aggressive cams. KA's never had VTC. 97-98 were probably the slowest, because those were the heaviest 2 years. you'll be hard pressed to make more than 175 to the wheels in a KA, ive yet to really see an all motor dyno of any KA, built or not, that exceeds 175hp (not counting the 300hp race motors).

S13 SR motors make 205 at the crank. so ~180hp to the wheels, all being stock. the majority of SR owners with bolt-ons and 14psi are between 220-245whp, a few have more, but not as many as you think.

do KA's pull on SR's. sure. im sure the majority of SR owners on the street run 15s. most can barely muster to break 13.9 at the track. but thats neither here nor there.

and there are no 1000hp KAs...yet. SR...yes. doenst make one or the other better.
