oh dear god.

KAs....91-early 93 were the most powerful because they came with the more aggressive cams. KA's never had VTC. 97-98 were probably the slowest, because those were the heaviest 2 years. you'll be hard pressed to make more than 175 to the wheels in a KA, ive yet to really see an all motor dyno of any KA, built or not, that exceeds 175hp (not counting the 300hp race motors).

S13 SR motors make 205 at the crank. so ~180hp to the wheels, all being stock. the majority of SR owners with bolt-ons and 14psi are between 220-245whp, a few have more, but not as many as you think.

do KA's pull on SR's. sure. im sure the majority of SR owners on the street run 15s. most can barely muster to break 13.9 at the track. but thats neither here nor there.

and there are no 1000hp KAs...yet. SR...yes. doenst make one or the other better.

wow if they can only run 15s they need to learn to run at the strip... ive only ran the 1/8 mile strip cause i didnt wanna make long ass trip to 1/4 track... i had 1 wheel peel... would do 2 things since it was my FIRST time at strip id either bog or spin... i got one fair run in i pulled a 2.222 spinning had to peddle it. and a 9.4 in the 1/8 note this was spinning its hard to launch on open diff im very sure if i had a VLSD or welded diff like i do now i could have been in mid 8s like 8.4s around there with no problem all i had was megan racingturbo mani,3dp, cat delete, and full 3" apexi exhaust, that was it and i ran 10psi on smic... well 9.7 psi was all it would hit so bassically 10 psi. and i pulled that spinning. again SR comes with Turbo and you barely have to put roughly 700 into car to break 230whp... with a KA you have to put all the shit together. then you have the fun time of finding out how long the motor will hold out when a Stock SR is good for 300whp.. no problems at all... KA<SR has been this way and always will be. honestly this shit about KA and SR is as dumb as saying the 420A RS/GS eclipse Engine is more powerful than a 4G63 thats exactly how it is.
