REVIEW: This is my favorite deck to date. Has 3sets of 4v preouts. Media Expander really brings out the bass and mids a lot better than the old school 'loud'. THe motorized face plate is a jewel. This is one of the last Alpine decks that did not have the slide touch bar but had all the great features. Plays mp3s within seconds and I also have it running with an AUX input to play from a seperate mp3 player. Has a volt protection to prevent it from trying to over power the internal amp if there is low voltage. Only negative thing I have to say, is if you want to run the xover in 3way vs 2way, you have to flip a switch on the back side of the deck itself.

REVIEW: This is a quality amp. Hard to find as well as it was discontinued after 2005. For a A/B amp, this can put out a fair amount of power to the sub. The highs sound clean and loud. It puts out enough where I only have to have the gain turned up 1/4 for both channels 1&2 and 3&4. No bass boost needed either. Digital Display looks nice and the dual fans keep the components cool.

REVIEW: Type R Components. Overall, i like these, however the grill on the tweeters are fragile (as Dalton found out). They 6.5"s put out a decent amount of midbass and can handle the power of most mids. Tweeters seem a 'bit' tinny to me, so I had to compensate using my eq on my deck. I've blared these nearly had 3/4 volume and no distortion.

REVIEW: What can I say, this 1 Type R Sub is performs better than 2 of my old W0 12's. I suspect that having ported box helps, but this gives me plenty of bang for my buck at the moment. Also, love the bannana style connectors on the sub vs the old spade interconnects.
