The longblock will drop right in no problem. The T56 on the vette is in the rear of the car with a huge Tq tube connecting them. Mechanical linkage connects the shifter to the tranny. Vette also uses a fly by wire TB that canott be used with a Camaro. But those are all peripheral items. The motor is the same for all intents and purposes. Some years has slightly differnt cams that didnt require and EGR hole in the intake....but that is mnor stuff. Why do you ask Will? There is really no benifit...the money would be better used in upgrades to your LS1.
