My buddy's eclipse is sputtering when he tries to push half way on the gas, then gives a little back fire. Now it does still have bad gas in it and it is throwing a check engine light. We had it hooked up to a computer and said it was bad mass air flow sensor. We had to disconnect the safc because with it the car wouldn't run at all. Does this sound right?
