2k and they keep it. I told them that was bs. We are going to go down to small claims court tomm and sue them. I found out that he owns his home so I can hopefully get some kind of money out of him to try and fix it or whatever. But this s*** sucks. that sucks man; f'n old people shouldn't be driving....
if the ins totals it though, I am pretty sure they would not just let you keep the car; and don't settle with them if you plan to sue....
