I wasn't running near as quick as the Charles above, not as much power and on GOOD street tires(RE-01R's) not race rubber. My 06' wagon has the power of the 06' wrx but got stuck with the 05' wrx brakes. I went to SS brake lines all around, changed the front pads to Carbotech Bobcats, and replaced fluid with Valvoline Synpower fluid(500ish boiling point) and they performed "OK". My front rotors do look a bit chewed up now and I'd guess these new front pads are between 2/3rd's and 3/4 gone.

Next time out I plan on going to the Panther Plus pads in the front, bobcats in the rear and see how the front rotors hold up.
