I have tuned just about every combination. I enjoy LS/VTEC the most or blocks with 89mm cranks. LS's are fun but wont go VERY far power wise without working the head over (port, polish, cams, etc). The most I have been able to make with an LS was 317whp on a Dyno Dynamics dyno with a big exhaust leak at the exhaust manifold, slipping clutch and timing coming unsynched at 6600RPM. I'm sure if there were no problems it would have done 330whp - 340whp. The engine had Super Tech valve train, Crower 62404 camshafts, GT3076RLE turbo, etc. What are your goals? Just to have a fun Honda? If so just turbo the LS and call it a day
