Yes ive posted a lot about my camaro...

Well my friend has a rebuilt 305 and is selling to me for $200 his dad will swap engines for me for $100 I need to buy a new transmission for $150 that will fit the 305 unless my 2.8 V6 tranny will fit? Also need to get a distributer and an adapter for the eldebrock carburater im putting on there so it will move down to 2 barrel and not flood my engine. So the distributer and the adapter should be about $150 more. Also I just got a new exauhst for it but it was for my V6 so what he said he can do is put a flex pipe on for now untill I can get a new exauhst. Right now my V6 is toasted the rod knock is loader then hell and this is my only option left... Should I go for it or no?


Does it sound like it will work? Im fuel injected right now but he said switching to carburated is not a big deal? Also I dont pay anything for the engine or labor untill its running and driving. Just have to buy the adaptor, distributer, and the transmission.
