well if you are d series, i would replace the tranny if i were going to replace my throw out bearing since the trannys are a dime a dozen.... but in order to change the throw out bearing you have to take the tranny off, and when you do that you might as well change the clutch blah blah blah ect. So really think about how much you want to do and how much you have to work with. I have never heard a throw out bearing just on deceleration
