I not sure about the miss fire I only suffered from the miss fire when I had a 1g bottom end with a 2g top end once I put the complete 1g top and bottom it went away I never used dsm link to tune it out I went to aem not because of a miss fire just because its a far superior tune tool for the power I was looking for. We have done several 2g 6bolt swaps and have not had any problems with the miss fire till this day and none of them are using dsm link or aem just afc and some not even that. But this is our opinion everyone has there own opinion on the miss fire as they do on the 6bolt and 7bolt swap
mine suffered from this misfire you speak of. it's gone now... but so is the motor.
But, just like the brothers are talking about, i had 1g bottom 2g top.
Weren't you saying somthing about a hyundai bottom end being able to do the job or somthing like that, Dave?
