I bought a 1988 RS Camaro.

Problem is there is a coolant leak and car gets hot if I drive for an hour or more and I have to put more water in it. What I am asking is what could be causing this problem? And how much would it cost to be fixed? Other then this the car runs and drives strong and no other problems at all.
