Regardless of being slow in stock form, you can still have fun with one, which is why most people get it. Some people don't care and just want a LSD so they can slide around, and 130hp is enough to have fun. Like everyone else stated, the debates are over:
1) stock 240sx run 16s
2) stock 240sx put out less than 135whp
3) stock 240sx WILL NOT beat a stock eclipse gst or gsx from a roll or a dig
4) to go fast in a 240sx requires a turbo ka24de or sr20det swap
And that's why I've seen people pull low 15s to high 14s in a stock 240. Granted it had a stock VLSD. With simple bolt ons and a little tune you will be at 185whp. Nissan rates the s14 ka at 150hp and they put that to the wheels. There are some weak KAs, but there are a some really strong KAs. Mine pulled on a few stock SRs.
