First off im new to the whole DSM scene, i bought the car with a major boost leak somewhere and i cant seem to find where it was at. When I drive you can hear the turbo spool up nice and fast but the car doesnt go anywhere.. Then at 5k RPM it picks up for a second then lags again. Only time I can hear the BOV is when im in a tunnel or somewhere that really reflects the sound.. Naturally I thoguht it was the pos stock 2g bov, but not knowing the difference between the 1g bov and 2g bov i just ordered a greddy type rs w/ recir. Well comes to find out I have a 1g bov on my car already and now im getting worried that its not the bov thats leaking boost. From what I have read and heard everyone praises the 1g bov for holding its boost and working real well. Is there any other things I can check that any of you guys know of? I know, I really need a boost gauge, if anyone has a cheap one lmk i dont feel like ordering one off ebay and waiting 2 weeks for it, nor spending 100 dollars for one in a shop around here.
