taylor's ka's actually were tuned well to ~250whp and ran only like 10-12psi, but taylor spent most of his time beating on it in high RPMs during drifting...clutch kicks, this and that...the motor isnt bound to last. they ran good, but drifting requires the best in cooling, and even with his vmounts and stuff i think it did him in over extended use.

im surprised mine has lasted this long, but ive always been overly cautious about keeping it cool and running safely. it requires alot of maintenance and upkeep. i have just about 30k miles on mine now, coming up on 2 years in december.

its going to depend on how your motor is to start with. you're not required to build it, but dont expect it to last forever. this isnt entirely true, but the lower the boost/power, the longer it will last, because less strain. but even 7psi setups blow up when people dont do it right.
