Man not trying to be a dick, but he does not have to take any belts off. You do not have to take your ac belt off. The compressor spins freely until engaged. When turned on the comressor clutch will come out and start to pressurize the system. Then and only then will you see what your dealing with reaccure.

Best thing to do is turn the ac on while the car is still and have someone bring the rpms up to where about the problem starts while looking under the hood for the leak. If not see an ac certified shop and have them put dye in the system!
