For the cage,check out chassisengerneering (spelling might be wrong)
They are in FL.Their prices are really good,You still need to notch out the pipes at the joints.

If you are narrowing a rear end.
WHY stay with the 8?
9s have a HUGE range in gear selections,and get the 31?Spline axels,from Mosey or who ever you can find,they come dime a dozen for 9s.

Since you are narrowing down a rear.
You DONT need to "tub" it out..

For the fuel cell,You dont have to completely cut out the spare tire well.
You can cut down into that for the fuel cell.I dont think you are going to run anything bigger than a 10,but if you plan on doing that.You can just add a sump onto the stock tank.

We use inline fuel pumps on the first gens,You can get the 300. aeromotive or just go with a inline walbro 255,for like $115.
