Many aftermarket EMS don't know "how" to throw a factory CEL. You have to hook it up to a reader and see what happened. I'd work backwards - check your fuses, plugs, ignition, hook up the EMS to a code reader, then look for mechanical problems. If you werent pushing hard enough to break something mechanical - its probably electrical :-p.
+1 Check the CAS to make sure you have spark at the plugs. Fuel + Spark + Air = Combustion..
