I have some questions about how to get or apply for a Home Built car title. I have a 1986 Doge Dart that is a full drag car, but my father and I have been considering turning it into a saturday night car, the car still has working lights and bumpers. We bought the car w/o a title b/c it was only gonna be a drag car. The only things that are even similar to the way it came from the factory is the door panels and roof, everything else has been removed or changed with lighter parts, the car has no vin #'s anywhere. I was just wondering if it where even possible to be able to apply for a home built title b/c the car was basiclly rebuilt from the frame up and what standards it would have to meet to do so, if anyone has any knowledge that could help it would be greatly appericated.
