ok here is the deal i got a 91civic with a b16 it has been converted to multi port. and i am running a stock
pr-3 stock injectors hell stock everything. i had a vafc but i unpluged it and fixxed all wires
i have a few problems first my idle is crazy high like 2k-2200 at first i though of a vaccum leak(not ruling that out yet), but i was messing with my vafc and if i hook that up to the map it idles around 1100 still kinda high, but i was thinking if it was vaccum then why go down when the afc is installed, then i put a map from 91 civic ex in and still high idle. any help
this might be related to the last one, when i first finished the swap i had liek 10 codes lol, i fix them all, i hooked up the knock sensor, the vtec wires, i fix the map code, ok so no codes on the ecu, i reset then ecu, now i drive the car and floor it hti pops vtec, but then slows down lol. what is this am i running to rich or lean.
and lastly i never wired in the secondary o2 sensor would that be causing a problem, i am not throwing a code for it. and can i jsut splice a wire from the first o2 sensor and run it to the sencodary one?
summary: vtec works on stock computer
speedo cable is hooked up
no codes
clean vtec screen ie brand new
good oil level
no secondary o2 hooked up.
