It could be an example of the Porsche Club doing what they want too....

SCCA says M2000 or SA2000 is fine for autox. I think as soon as you jump to solo trials that the M2000 helmets are no longer acceptable. If you think you might even do a HPDE or something like that, it's probably best to get an SA rated helmet. Buying equipment twice is silly.
