I bought the car from my friend, and it has still never been fired since a rebuild. It was supposed to have an Anderson blower cam in it, and while I had the timing cover off for other reasons I decided to pull the cam and check. I couldnt find any markings on it, so I took it up to Powered By Ford and Scott said it was just a plain production cam... Looks like one more thing that the shop screwed my friend(and now me) on..

Anyhow, Scott recommended an X cam for my car, which I bought. Funny, I always heard the X cam is not a good blower cam. Is that just "old" thinking? I have been away from 5.0s for probably 10 years, and things have changed quite a bit.. haha. So what is everyones thoughs on this cam for what I have? And where would you install it? Straight up, advanced, or retarded.
