But there's a difference in that I don't need to ride a motorcycle. I choose to make death come after me instead of me knocking on the door every time I twist my wrist. I don't believe in life after death so I want to make my life last as long as possible.

I used to say to people that I knew that my death would be because of my motorcycle. I've come to realize that its a stupid thing to say. Dying because of a motorcycle is tragic, pointless, and stupid. There are people in this world that I don't want to leave behind, and its them I think about when I look at the bike. If I was all alone, I probably wouldn't care, but I'm not. I may not have children, but there are people whose lives would be hurt tremendously if I were killed. I care about them and I refuse to put them through that.

I respect everyone's right to run their own lives and I'd never tell anyone to not ride a motorcycle. Unless, of course, I really cared about them.
