volume doesnt change, but due to changing restrictions in an improperly set up turbo system will change pressure readings.

compare it with a 4" hose and a 1" garden hose both flowing the same amount of water... the 1" will have more pressure due to more restriction, but in the end still will flow the same fixed amount of water for both hoses.
