I am looking to buy a new magnaflow catback exhuast, I am trying to figure out which one to get for my 1999 civic with a gsr swap. I know that the rule of thumb is buy a header for the engine and buy exhaust for the car but with the gsr motor my catalytic converter is no longer up in the header for the stock dx motor it is now connected to the end of my gsr header and than the rest of the exhaust. Looking at magnaflow web page if I were to buy for the car I would get model #15643 which is for 96-00 dx hatch, but I was thinking maybe buying #15646 for the si and ex maybe the one because I think the cat location on those is similar to what I have now, but is the routing of pipe the same on those cars as it is for the dx and exhaust hanger points? I am sure there are a bunch of people out there with gsr engines in their ek hatch's and aftermarket exhuast. Any input would be great.
