Default which exhaust 99 civic hatch

I am looking to buy a new magnaflow catback exhuast, I am trying to figure out which one to get for my 1999 civic with a gsr swap. I know that the rule of thumb is buy a header for the engine and buy exhaust for the car but with the gsr motor my catalytic converter is no longer up in the header for the stock dx motor it is now connected to the end of my gsr header and than the rest of the exhaust. Looking at magnaflow web page if I were to buy for the car I would get model #15643 which is for 96-00 dx hatch, but I was thinking maybe buying #15646 for the si and ex maybe the one because I think the cat location on those is similar to what I have now, but is the routing of pipe the same on those cars as it is for the dx and exhaust hanger points? I am sure there are a bunch of people out there with gsr engines in their ek hatch's and aftermarket exhuast. Any input would be great.

Buy the one for your car. The si ex model the rear section is different not the mid section. The mid section should be exactly the same. You need to get a test pipe or cat from a gsr and it should mate up. A Omni Power testpipe will solve all of your problems.

Thanks for the response, I already have the cat, so it should just connect right up to the cat. My only thinking is that if I buy it for the car that it will be too long by the length of the catyltic converter. My exhaust stock has the cat built into the header and than the end of the header comes just beyond the oil pan, and than the rest of the exhaust hooks right into the header. But now with the gsr header on there which comes to virtually the same place as the "stock header with the cat" under the oil pan, I have added the cat right after that (to the gsr header) and had to cut down my stock exhaust just so I could fit the cat in there. I am trying to avoid cutting the magnaflow exhaust while keeping my new cat in there. I imagine that if I bought the one for car that it would reach all the way to the oil pan and bolt up there. Which probably would have me have to cut the thing down so that I can fit the new cat in there. Does anyone have anymore insight on this.
