I think it can be done. Probably on one side where there is a bin thing and just use the whole space across to the other side to get enough space for the enclosure. Guess I'll just see what people say. I definitely want an L7 though. Even if I have to go to a 10" I guess.
If your setup is what I beleive it is, you arent gonna get 3 cubic ft down there, you might get two. You definitely arent gonna get enough space to properly build a ported box and you will definitely have to construct most of the box out of fiberglass.
A 10" L7 will be a little easier to port and will prolly sound better overall in that space.
I'm proficient with everything fiberglass except finishing it. I used to have a friend who could do it but he moved out of town. I usually hit up 15/hr and I buy the resin retail - you can prolly find it cheaper online.
You may want to do some research on prefabs, this one was 100 on ebay and offers 1 cuft. you might be able to find one that meets your needs.
