I think the new Bridgestones are good street tires. I ran BT012's on my first trackday and got totally rid of my "chicken strips" front and rear and was able to grind my peg-feelers on my 954 down to nothing. Even hit the pegs quite a bit even after taking the peg-feelers off.
Mine just either wore off or they fell off while dragging them... does it seem to you that a 954 is capable of dragging the pegs a lot easier than most bikes?
