I have a hybrid mount that is my own creation. You should try it. Here it is.
Start w/ harder durometer rubber motorsports mount and short length of seatbelt from dead car. (black color obviously) cut one slit in seatbelt long enough to pull open and poke bottom stud of mount through. Compress mount w/ v-forked c-clamp to allow the belt to be wrapped around the mount w/ minimal slack. Mark it, and cut similar slit as before. hook over top stud of mount, and release c-clamp. Voila!! you have a mount that will not stretch beyond tension of belt but will still provide damping of factory motorsport mount. (women won't call it a piece of ish rattle trap anymore.)
