Umm what the hell are you talking about...mercedez, mclaren, bmw, lotus, vw??? Ok maybe you haven't been in a mercedez in the past 15 years, but the newer S-class mercedez have over a 140 computers/modules communicating with one another in that chassis, the only reason wiring in your own stereo/alarm/etc is so hard is because they want you to pay them to do it. They have the most advanced diagnostic tools that make the tech-2 look like an etchesketch. I just thought i'd make you think twice about that dumb comment.
I buy american when at all possible. I work for GM. I bought my nissan frontier 5 years ago because its 97% built and 100% assembled in tennessee. I'd love to own an american bike, but they haven't made one worth comprimising for yet. Some people are losing the point here...what frankie is saying is that none of us will have jobs if we keep outsourcing every fucking single product the american public buys!
