See, I think the idea that foreign cars are better than domestic cars is a myth. My sister drives a Chevy Cobalt and I see no difference between it and the Honda Civic. It's reliable, has a stupid warranty, and gets great mileage. I see a lot of old Cavaliers on the road, just as much as I see old Civics. I think Americans for some reason live under this idea that foreign is better, and I ain't buying into it. If I can help it, I'm buying a domestic product.
10 MPG hot rod? Not since 1972. Last I checked, the LS1-based F-Body is capable of nearly 30 MPG while generating 300 HP. Again, you all just give in to the myth that the Japanese are better, with nothing to really back it up but hearsay.
