i think as was said above.... I'd rather buy something designed in japan and built here...
our workers are great and skilled but we just build over done, heavy ass junk overall... from a design stand point, most of our biggier is better crap makes me sick.
but even with that said i will always be a chevy guy and can't bring myself to spend my money on a import car. even thou from years of working on both, i like the way they build things. but as long as gas stays cheap here I'll be buying a V8 with push rods.
$3 gal. is pushing it thou.... if i didn't already have a car I'm happy with i may just look into a turbo 4.... and it seems only the japs will build a 4cyl turbo RWD.... and i don't know how to drive a FWD car! haha
I'm not happy about it at all but we pretty much build and sell junk in the eyes of the rest of the world and even most of our own people are smart enough to see it. doesn't mean for a sec that we like it.
