), no power brakes or steering, live axles, and heavy metal, even with the Jap crap did have most of that too, they had less than a ton in their little tin box and thus usually handled better..America has many more straight roads and much more room for 1/4 mi and stoplight races, whereas they hand windey mountains and steep funness.
Despite my preferences for foreign cars, I'll always have a place in my heart for 74 GTOs, 67-69 Camaros, 69/70 Challengers and respect for 442s, Novas, Buick GSXs, etc.
