Wow, you are scaring me with all this prying, that head and block is aluminum (SOFT STUFF!!!!) dont pry!! you may have already messed the head up and nicks or scars on the heads surface or in the exaust ports will hinder performance as well as cause leaks.. The head should pop off, Do this find were the head meets the block, follow that from the fromt to the back, looking for brackets that connect the head to the block, like power steering brackets and such, Once you do that reinstall the intake manifold tighten the bolts!!! and use the rocking idea as stated above this will give you all the leverage you should need. If it does not come off STOP!!! either the motor was over heated, causing the gasket to seal the block and head together or you are still missing something.. See if you can get some help(outsiders) Its a good idea sometimes to get a fresh set of hands in there with a clear head, that may find the problem, If not take a step back and just look for a while and double check things 2-3 times.. Nothing will come by getting ed off or mad, other than broken parts.. G/L.

I cans stress enough the prying needs to stop or start looking for a new head/block.. or saving money for some serious machine work!!
