I've heard the same thing about Art Carr, and did'nt really pay much attention after that. If i remember correctly they wanted 2k for a rebuild (not including approx. 250 shipping), or i could buy a new one for 3k w/ a lifetime warranty. Now that would be minus the 250 deductible, and the shipping. Even though they are in canada, they now have a terminal inside the us which saves on the paperwork. I don't know i just could'nt see putting another 2 grand into a trans i already spent close to 3 on !!
