The old Art Carr out of Reno was very good. Then he sold out, but started up another trans shop. Can't remember the name and location of the new "good" Art Car(r)?
I do know you can drop some big coin on a Lentech Strip Terminator with a brake, convertor, and pan. The thing that sucks with Lentech is that they are in Canada. Some have had great results, others have had negative things to say about them.

I've heard the same thing about Art Carr, and did'nt really pay much attention after that. If i remember correctly they wanted 2k for a rebuild
(not including approx. 250 shipping), or i could buy a new one for 3k w/ a lifetime warranty. Now that would be minus the 250 deductible, and the shipping. Even though they are in canada, they now have a terminal inside the us which saves on the paperwork. I don't know i just could'nt see putting another 2 grand into a trans i already spent close to 3 on
