I don't think there is a difference in distributers because I used my old one for the conversion I did. I am not sure but I would think that if they were different the kit would have mentioned needing/buying another one. Plus I don't remember adapting or soldering any wires for the distributer either except for the nitrous window switch...knowing my luck though I am wrong about this!
Can't believe A&E doesn't sell the adaptor for the schrader valve seperately...damn.

Your other thread: if the cam and crank are off marks, it may have been "dialed in" by moving those marks to different degrees of one another according to a wheel you buy at speed shops. If your motor is this way for a reason then you have to take that into consideration when timing, other wise it should be "6 o'clock" on the cam and "high noon" on the crank. If being a little off on the clock scenario it will throw timing off, it needs to be pretty close.
