Hey boss, the VSS (vehicle speed senser) is for cruise control, if you don't have cruise you don't need these wires. The fuel pump relay wires are of course for the fuel pump but all I know is I hooked mine up like the paperwork said and my car runs strong. I am not sure which cars do need them hooked up and which ones don't. I would imagine all the speed density to mass air conversions would and if you already have mass air and doing a "retrofit" you wouldn't. I remember they went over to the computer and plugged in to specific pins on the A9L. I am sure someone on here knows exactly, they probably aren't up yet....
