Well my appraisal says mine is "numbers matching" and I dont have the original paint or interior colors. It mainly appiles to the driveline and body. You can't prove a Chevy muscle car is numbers matching, because they never stamped the last six of the vin on the block or trans. Same with Mopars before about 1966. Usually you see them advertised as "survivor", those are just what they imply, over 60% original paint and ALL original parts. What you guys are describing is probly "Concorse restoration or correct restoration" is one that is completly restored to ALL original numbers. That including paint, and all options. I've seen cars completly stripped of all parts but the driveline and be called numbers matching.
