And this is the first I have ever heard of any evo getting crank walk. I have not seen any documented proof and I don't know who Jerry is or anything about his car so as far as I am concerned it holds about much truth.
They are 7 bolts and the reason you dont hear about them is they dont exist here and they dont have a crank trigger like I said.
2g`s dont die because the crank starts walking a bit. They die because once it starts walking it gets picked up by the crank sensor and that shuts the car down. I have seen 1g`s with cranks that didnt just walk they got up and ran. You just dont hear about them because they will run for along time before they do enough damage to kill the motor.
It does seem to be more common in the 7 bolt motor though.And I believe there is more to it than just the 7 bolt crank not beeing nitrate coated like a 6 bolt. But I am sure it helps contribute to it.
