This is true to a extent, but their have been low mileage 2g's with this problem as well. Firsthand I have seen a 97GSX with less then 15k miles on it with this problem(while back), and others with low mileage cars have said to have this issue as well. I was just wondering if it's a problem that doesn't exist anymore with the evo's. The highest mileage evo i've seen thus far without any problem/s has about 50k miles on it (wich is a good sign). Seems to me at this point that the main issue here would be maintnence , quality issues don't seem to play a roll here.
